As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved my stay at The Larches. The peaceful location and beautiful surroundings were a welcome escape from the city. Inge and Malcolm, the owners, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast they served was simply spectacular, especially the local sausages, bacon, and apple juice. The house itself was spotlessly clean, and the lovely bathroom with a bath was a great bonus. Highly recommended!

It was remote enough to provide a peaceful atmosphere, yet conveniently close to a town with shops, restaurants, and pubs. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The house itself was immaculately clean and tidy, and our room was well-appointed with all the amenities we needed, including tea and coffee facilities and a comfortable terrace. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, which allowed us to stay connected during our stay.

We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves the countryside and wants to be spoiled and looked after.
